New Volunteers are Needed!

  • All Training is provided
  • Hours are flexible

We need people who want to make a difference in their community

If you want to help others, learn new skills, and can dedicate a little time each month toward this great cause (or know someone who is interested), then please call us at:

973 423-0141

or click on the "Join Now" button to go to our On-line application

We would like to tell you what is expected of you to be a member of our organization.

Our Duty Crews start at 6:00pm and last until 5:00am (Sunday through Friday). Every six weeks, we have a weekend duty crew that your crew must ride from Saturday at 5:00am through Sunday 5:00am. When on call, you do not have to stay at the ambulance building, but must be able to respond in a timely manner. There are some duties that must be done during your duty time, where you will be expected to be at the building. From 5:00am until 6:00pm (Monday through Friday), we have an "All Call" which means there is no set duty crew to cover the towns and any available members call into headquarters and take the call.

The first Monday of each month is our scheduled business meeting, which we request that you attend. It starts at 8:00pm, at our new building located at 792 Belmont Ave, North Haledon.

This application must be filled out, with the medical and physical release form completed by the association's doctor. You will not be responsible for any of the doctor's fees not covered by your insurance.

Once again, thank you for your interest in joining our organization. We look forward to you helping us by helping others in their time of need.
